Dear reader,
If you’re reading this, it means you’ve been following our journey — closely or from afar.
Back in 2017, DARE was born. Unlike most agencies – whose core DNA is artistic – we placed entrepreneurship at the heart of who we are, our ambitions and our actions from day one. And like every entrepreneur, we constantly seek to innovate, explore, question, and pivot.
Our very first projects were LinkedIn trainings. Then we coached dozens of CEOs in Switzerland on their personal branding. We moved into social media management, strategic marketing consulting for large companies, and eventually became a full‑service communication agency.
Videos, photos, branding, employer branding, websites, international campaigns — in 8 years, we’ve touched many disciplines.
Driven by ambition, passion and a constant desire for action, we tended to say “yes” to everything. Those “yeses” gave us some of the wildest experiences of our lives:
- Riding the Dakar Rally with a Swiss racing team
- Stepping into the Alfa Romeo Orlen F1 factory
- Spending two days with Ronaldinho
- Running workshops in London, Riga and Barcelona
- Creating the employer brand for the most recommended bank in our canton
- Supporting a leading Swiss insurance company with its product strategy
There’s no denying it: these past years have been the most intense of our lives. We grew, we learned, we smiled, we cried, we celebrated. That’s exactly what we signed up for.
That entrepreneurial spirit has also pushed us to challenge the status quo, again and again.
In 2023, for example, we completely redesigned our model to launch an unlimited marketing subscription. Business‑wise, it was a jackpot: our revenue became mostly recurring every month.
But inside, it was chaos. Our days felt like a fire station — constantly running to put out fires. We weren’t working with our clients anymore, but for them. A subtle nuance… that changed everything.
So we pivoted again, back to what matters most.
That same entrepreneurial drive also led us, in early 2025, to launch Rebrand, a new agency dedicated exclusively to Swiss SMEs — helping them modernize with a strong image and a website that sells.
The result after 8 months? 27 SMEs guided through that process.
We’ve always tried to make DARE live, grow, evolve and sweat — and to share it with you through concrete actions:
Organizing events called DAREx to bring our clients and partners together (the first kicked off with a bungee jump over a Swiss valley, followed by a haka in a movie theater and a giant Top Chef).
Creating, four times, clothing collections carrying the messages our brand embodies
Sharing our ambitions with transparency and authenticity — thanks to you, DARE is now the most followed agency on LinkedIn in Switzerland.
But for the past two years, an inner signal kept ringing: something had to change.
Today more than ever, we’re convinced that being a generalist is no longer sustainable.
Companies and brands need experts. Partners who master a core skill.
Being good at everything? It’s being excellent at nothing.
We gathered our team, our clients and our partners to answer two fundamental questions:
What is our true strength?
Since day one, there’s been ONE thing at the heart of DARE: brand creation.
Among all the skills we’ve developed over the years, this is the one that made the most sense with our DNA and our vision of tomorrow.
We’re convinced it’s more vital than ever to understand the power of a brand.
A brand isn’t here to sell services or products. It’s here to embody a vision, values, a mission, a promise.
A brand doesn’t aim to “promote”; it aims to create adhesion.
That’s why we chose to focus on one thing, and one thing only: creating strong brands.
Because even today, too many leaders think branding stops at a logo or a style guide.
But a brand is not what you show. It’s what people remember.
It’s not what you say. It’s what they feel.
Creating a brand isn’t a creative exercise. It’s a strategic one.
And that confusion — between visual identity and brand identity — is what keeps so many companies in the shadows, despite solid products or services.
So after numerous workshops and partnerships, we’ve built a clear, rigorous, proven method to craft memorable brands.
Brands that don’t depend on their ad budget to exist but on the clarity of their positioning and the power of their message.
We’ve also added the variable that’s guided us from the start: entrepreneurship.
This is what allows us to move fast, aim right, and deliver a program that, in just 3 months, creates brands others will spend 10 years chasing.
That’s why we’re announcing today: DARE is no longer an agency. DARE is a Brand Factory.
